Why I am judging the awards..."The goalposts have moved this year (presumably into storage waiting to be deep cleaned along with everything else); conversation has changed, behaviours have shifted. I'm looking forward to seeing how brands and agencies have reacted and used their creativity to enable businesses to continue being heard, and engage with their audiences.
Whether the idea is smart, funny or groundbreaking, it needs to be led by sound strategic insights, and land with its audience through creative execution and craft. I'm hoping to see these three tenets working together to create some great campaigns with clear, measurable outcomes.
Above all else, this is a great opportunity to enjoy seeing what we've all been up to in 2020."
